Text: Acts 10:37, 38

“That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; 38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”

Commentary:
Jesus was anointed by the Holy Spirit at His baptism. It wasn't until after His baptism (His anointing)

• that the Holy Spirit abode upon Him...
• ...that Jesus was led of the Spirit into the wilderness to prepare for His ministry...
• ...that Jesus began preaching in the power of the Spirit
