A righteous God desires a people and a kingdom which will reveal Himself as always righteous, and seeks a people who would show the same in themselves.
By contrast, the 'kingdom of this world' fails in such a test (2 Corinthians 4:4). Presently, the King is not here on David's throne, but soon He will come and judge the world in righteousness. Then all will see His will accomplished on earth (Acts 17:31).
The author takes the prominent language concerning the Kingdom as found in the
Gospels, and aids conscientious believers to grasp the essential lifestyle for
qualifying to enter into that Kingdom (the Millennium) at the Return of the King.
